| On the edge of Stokes Forest and the foot of Sunrise Mountain nestled in a shady glen of Hickory trees in the quaint little town of Branchville in Sussex New Jersey lies Hames Hollow Farm. With it's 1&1/2 acre bass pond as a back drop the stillness of this little glen is only broken by the thundering hoof beats of Treasure, Lobo, and Cheyenne, 3 gray Percherons. Treasure (Cong's Collectible Treasure) and Lobo (IDD Farm's Lobo G Buck) came to their new home in Branchville New Jersey in the summer of 2004 and Cheyenne,(a yearling filly our newest addition) in November of 2005 from Canada under the care and training of their new owners Phillip & Conni Yohe are well on their way to stardom in the show world. Today Our three gray Percherons have gone on to become our newest Percheron fire hitch of Percheron parade horse. Just a mer 10 minutes from the New Jersey State Fair Grounds home of the Sussex County Farm and Horse show we're accessible to New York and Pennsylvania. Phillip along with training horses for harness gives individual driving instruction both on and off the farm as well as fitting draft horses for show. Visitors are always welcome! |
